Book individually or Our family fun package takes a group of two adults and two children on an epic Segway ride starting in the suburb of Te Hau Kapua Devonport.

The fun starts as you ride through the cones on the training ground, putting your Segway skills to the test. In no time at all you’ll have mastered the art of riding the Segway, zipping around the grounds like a total pro.

Then we’ll take you on a guided segway ride on the Te Hau Kapua/ Devonport waterfront, around the shoreline of the beautiful Waitemata Harbour past the centuries old lava flows and inner city beaches.

A Segway ride is one of the most enjoyable Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland activities for families and groups of friends. You need to allow and hour for this Segway hire guided ride as we need some training time before the 45-minute ride. It’s a fantastic way to bond with family and friends over a new shared experience, all while having lots of fun!

TO RIDE A SEGWAY IN OUR FAMILY FUN PACKAGE, YOU MUST:

Be agile and able to climb stairs unaided.
Be able to step on and off the Segway with ease.
Be 10 years old or over

A Family Fun Auckland Segway ride is limited to six (6) participants.

COST: $65.00 per person OR $225.00 for two adults, two children.

Allow 1 hour as we need training time before the 45 minute ride around the Waterfront.

The Booking System will secure your details e.g. name, date, time, numbers, and a confirmation ticket/invoice will be sent to your email address.

However your payment will not process.

PAYMENT can be made:
By cash at our office at the time of your ride.
By Direct Credit to Magic Broomstick Tours ASB Account.
Credit Cards or Eftpos are NOT available at this time.

TAKING THE FERRY?

If you’re coming from the city you can take the 12 minute ferry ride from the downtown terminal. Once here you’ll find us inside the Devonport Ferry Terminal.

Booking for the Ferry is not necessary as they run every ½ hour during the day.

AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE

If you’re driving from the City over the bridge you need to allow 45 minutes as traffic can be heavy coming into Devonport via Lake Road.

There is free 3-hour car parking outside the ferry terminal building. And a large Pay and Display parking area on the waterfront. Alternatively, you will need to find parking in the streets around the village.
