Are you curious about riding a Segway? Then this a great ride for you.
When you have learned to ride and practiced on our training ground, you’ll be off to experience the awesome Segway Sensation. Glide around the waterfront of Devonport, Auckland’s historic seaside village to Cheltenham Beach. There you will have a superb view of Rangitoto Island, our youngest volcanic cone, rising majestically out of the sea. You’ll have a chance to put the Segway through its paces in a local park. You’ll glide uphill and down dale through the back streets as you admire the charming Victorian Villas and make your way back to base on Devonport Wharf.
“You’ll have the Segway Smile after this Ride”.
To ride a Segway, you need to be agile and able to climb stairs unaided .
You must be able to step on and off the Segway with ease.

TAKING THE FERRY?
If you’re coming from the city you can take the 12 minute ferry ride from the downtown terminal. Once here you’ll find us inside the Devonport Ferry Terminal.
Booking for the Ferry is not necessary as they run every ½ hour during the day.
AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE
If you’re driving from the City over the bridge you need to allow 45 minutes as traffic can be heavy coming into Devonport via Lake Road.
There is free 3-hour car parking outside the ferry terminal building. Alternatively, you will need to find parking in the streets around the village.
Rangitoto erupted from the seabed only 650 years ago.
Now a marine reserve Rangitoto Island is home to unique plants and features walking/hiking trails and a boardwalk to the summit where you will enjoy spectacular views of Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf.
