Our MagicBroomsticks Segway tour of Devonport was the highlight of our stay in Auckland. The adventure began with a ten-minute ferry ride from the city and after a thorough instructional briefing and practice at the wharf we took off on a fabulous and informative tour through the streets and parks of Devonport to North Head with its historical gun-emplacements and its breathtaking views of the city on one side and the Hauraki Gulf islands on the other.
Adam was the perfect guide for hard-to-entertain teenage boys, tweaking the tour to their interests and bringing smiles to their faces (and their mum’s!). We enjoyed every moment of our morning’s meanderings.
